Ghanaian US based Soldier and Gospel Artist, Thomas Obeng, has reconciled with sensational singer Ohemaa Mercy, after a fracas ensued between them on Facebook some months ago.

The 'Tambola' hit maker, accused Ohemaa Mercy of being a hypocrite in a Facebook post that read: "Some Gospel musicians are not like what we think they are."

Fans of both artist commented in various ways, with most of them wanting to know what prompted that allegation but nothing more was said by the writer. Later, the post was  deleted.

But in a recent post by Thomas OB, he has hailed Ohemaa Mercy for being so supportive to him in his music career. He says the gospel diva "pushed and motivated" him to enter into the industry.

Thomas OB on facebook: "Today, I will like everyone on Facebook and around the world to know who has been behind the scene since my Gospel Music Career began. Please help me say a big thank you to this anointed woman of God here, Ohemaa Mercy, because she pushed and motivated me to enter into Gospel Music."

"The Word says that, many are called but few are chosen. Ohemaa, thank you so much for your support and love. May the Almighty God protect you and your family." He also revealed that both of them are to recorded a single track soon, to crown their reunion.

"And the interesting part is that, we are planning to come out with one collaboration soon, so watch out", he added. Sources by this blog tell that the new single is titiled, 'Onyame Aye'.

Giant telecommunications services provider in Ghana, MTN, is warning it's customers on the MobileMoney (Momo) platform to be extra vigilante over new means fraudsters have devised to syphon money from subscribers.

The MobileMoney service has released an alert message on Saturday morning (today) urging customers to "kindly disregard any message indicating that a merchant will call to assist them to transfer money into their (customers) wallet."

Below is the full statement:

Dear Momo Customer, kindly disregard any message indicating that a Merchant will call you to assist you to transfer money into your wallet.

Under no circumstances should a Merchant or anyone engage you on the transfer of monies in or out of your wallet.

Please DO NOT respond to any transaction you have not initiated and remember to keep your PIN safe.

NOMINATIONS OUT FOR 7TH FOKLEX MEDIA AWARDS.

Nomination lists for the 7th Foklex Media Awards have been released by the organizing body on it's official Facebook page: Foklex Media Production/Foklex Media Awards.

The initial lists are for the Brong-Ahafo and the Eastern regions. Each region has eleven (11) categories with six (6) nominees in each category.

Meanwhile, Foklex Media Production has indicated that all the nominations put out so far are subject to corrections before actual voting begins.

The organizers have already made it known that "64 radio stations in 7 regions are to receive awards in various fields this year", urging individual nominees to do their best to stay on top.

The 7th Foklex Media Awards with the catchphrase, 'adding value to make a difference', will be held on 24th March at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi.

The video of the hit song by Ghanaian US based soldier, Thomas Obeng, is ready to take over TV screens in Ghana from Friday February 2, 2018.

The 'Tambola' song video, a touch of excellence, although premieres on Atinka TV tomorrow, has been on YouTube and Facebook with many likes.

'Tambola' is a South African language which means 'arise'. Thomas OB explains, the song "urges humanity to arise and praise the Lord for His good deeds".
